Note that these apply only to VSys One - the desktop application. VSys Anywhere, VSys Live, VSys Live Kiosk: these are all 100% browser based and require no installation to access, no special instructions or firewall rules.
The RemoteApp software enables us to make VSys One accessible through Remote Desktop Services and appear as if it is running on the end user's local computer. Instead of the user being presented with the desktop of the Remote Desktop Session, the RemoteApp program is integrated with the client's desktop. The RemoteApp program runs in its own resizable window, can be dragged between multiple monitors, and has its own entry in the taskbar.
VSys One as a RemoteApp can be accessed several ways:
Access to the customer-specific Remote Desktop Gateway can be done using Internet Explorer 7+ via HTTPS (port 443).
To access Hosted VSys, you must allow the following ports and protocols outbound through your firewall:
