VSys can be told to run the index rebuild tool directly from the command line, rather than using the visual user interface. These are handy for scheduled runs without having to involve users.
Run the command-line index rebuild tool by launching VSys with the ixrebuild: parameter, followed by any options. For example,
VSys.exe ixrebuild
or,
VSys.exe ixrebuild:purexml,transitions,optionunique

VSys must be configured to automatically start with a database for these to work. If VSys prompts you for a database to use when it's run, the automated index rebuilder cannot work.
