Does the database reside on your server or ours, and who is responsible for maintaining it?

Your primary database sits on your server, in your IT department, where it belongs, and no outside access is ever made to that data by us or our programs.

If you use the VSys Web system (the older, synchronized version) to allow your volunteers to sign up online, see and enter hours, and check their assignments and messages, a small set of that data sits on our server for that purpose (see How does VSys Web work?).

With VSys Live, once again all of your data lives on your IT department's servers, since VSys Live is hosted within your local network.
