Action Link: Send Message

Creates an incoming message which is then handled according to the appropriate rules for that message type.

Message types

If more than one message type is selected here, the volunteer will be asked for what type of message this is, limited to the values checked in this field.

Page to show after sending

After the message has been sent, the volunteer will be redirected to this page.

Message to show after posting

After the message has been sent, the volunteer will be show this message, if any.

Example

Based on the type of message selected, the user is being prompted for custom fields associated with that  Incoming message types V.
